Gianni’s Restaurant is located at the fashionable end of Edward Street, a short walk from the City Botanical Gardens. The Restaurant was awarded the titles of Best Queensland Restaurant of the Year in 2004 and Best Regional Fine Dining in 2006.
In the 2007 QLD Restaurant and Catering awards we are now the proud winners of Best European Restaurant.
Gianni is the perfect wedding venue for intimate receptions of 50 to large Cocktail Receptions of 150 guests. We also offer our courtyard area for conducting your wedding ceremony.

The restaurant has two dining areas, a downstairs courtyard with glass canopy and built-in heaters in winter to provide shelter and warmth from all weather conditions, and the upstairs mezzanine area, which is ideal for pre-dinner canapés and drinks. The courtyard and bar area are perfect for setting up a live band and dancing after dinner.

At Gianni, we offer three standard wedding reception packages: a cocktail party reception, a sit-down dinner or an Italian buffet reception. Should you have something else in mind, we are happy to organise anything you require, to make your day special.
When you book your wedding reception with Gianni, you can be sure that no detail is overlooked. We pride ourselves on making sure that every wedding is a unique and memorable occasion. We cater for every wedding to your individual needs.

We recommend that you make an appointment to come into the restaurant and have a look at the setup and atmosphere that we provide. When you come in for your appointment we are able to show you many photos to give you an idea of what the restaurant looks like when set up for a wedding and answer any questions that you have about your reception. We also advise that you come in for a meal to experience the cuisine and service that we pride ourselves on at Gianni.
